St. Jude House Welcomes Brielle Hauptli as Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator

St. Jude House is thrilled to introduce Brielle Hauptli as our new Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator! Brielle will play a key role in expanding and enhancing our volunteer opportunities, helping individuals and groups make a meaningful impact on the lives of survivors of domestic violence.

Volunteers at St. Jude House can engage in a variety of impactful activities, including:

  • Providing transportation for clients’ appointments, job interviews, and other needs.
  • Assisting with donation processing and inventory.
  • Helping with shelter upkeep and maintenance, such as cleaning and paint projects.
  • Participating in Meal Makers, preparing meals for shelter residents.
  • Supporting special events and fundraising efforts.
  • Representing St. Jude House at outreach events in the community.
  • Offering children’s programming support and activities.
  • Assisting with the crisis hotline or other direct services.

“I can’t wait to connect with future volunteers to create change in our communities!” Brielle shared.

We invite community members who are 18 years or older to join our volunteer team. Volunteers must complete a volunteer application, pass a criminal background check, and participate in our training program to ensure the safety and security of our clients.

For high school students under 18 seeking volunteer hours, we will offer opportunities to help at offsite locations or under the supervision of a parent or guardian throughout the year – stay tuned!

With a strong and dedicated volunteer force, we can do so much more to support survivors and create lasting change in Northwest Indiana.

We’re excited to see how Brielle will expand our outreach and volunteer efforts. If you’re interested in volunteering or have a community event where you’d like St. Jude House to participate, reach out to Brielle Hauptli at [email protected].
